Mine! No, mine! Mine! No, mine! Mine! No, mine! Mine! No, mine! Mine! No, mine! Mine! No, mine! Mine! No, mine! Mine! No, mine! Mine! No, mine!

Just thought you'd like to relive our week for a bit. Jesse has learned the meaning of *mine*, how to say it, and most importantly, how to SCREAM it. oy. Actually he seems to be picking up more and more words. When he has a poop he now comes to us and says "I got poo?" When I ask him "can you say YES?" he nods instead of saying anything. He knows what a dog says, what a cat says, what a cow says, and where his nose is. We're very proud! We had to finally retire anything in the 12 months size that is pants or snaps at the crouch because he's gotten too long for them.

The big news this week is that Jocelyn was accepted as a role model for the integrated preschool in the fall!!! Morgan's old teacher who I LOVED contacted me about applying a couple months ago and I told her that Jocelyn misses the 1/1 cutoff but she said that's ok, she can just 'audition' (be assessed). So Friday was the audition (and as it turns out, all the kids audition whether they make the age cutoff or not). All the kids/parents met in the lobby of Eli Terry school and the teachers took them back. Josh said one little girl cried and for once, it wasn't ours. (Don't worry, he also said when they returned the kids, the little girl was all smiles). When the teachers said the parents could leave for 45 min and come back, Josh said he was the only one that turned and ran - everyone else stayed - haha. When I got home Jocelyn was very excited telling me about her "different school" (vs. her current school) and how she painted a butterfly and did playdoh and pieces (puzzles). So I emailed Miss Dana to tell her how much Jocelyn liked it, and she wrote this back to me:

"I just love her!!!! You'll be getting a letter in the mail, but I'll give you a heads-up .... she's definitely being accepted for next year and she'll be in my class!!! That means she'll get to spend 2 years as a role model in POP. She's very mature for her age and I have no doubt she'll do great. Does it matter if she's AM or PM? I was hoping to put her in my morning class. Also, she was very accurate about what she did, and yes, she meant puzzles when she said pieces. It's funny because the puzzle she did didn't look exactly like a regular puzzle, it was more like animal pieces that fit into separate spaces, so she was accurate about that too!"

I'm very excited that she'll be going there, and also that Dana will be her teacher - yay!!

Morgan had one good day this week but the rest not so much. His teacher is back from maternity leave this week and working on figuring out what is setting him off. She asked that I send in some treats for a new reward system so I reached into the stockpile and grabbed some stuff he'll eat. The deal is that we aren't allowed to give him those things at home, so I had to choose carefully. We've continued the claritin all week and he seems to be sleeping a bit better, so that's something.

Timothy is nearly another graduation at karate - but this is the big one - he'll be getting his junior blackbelt! He has to learn 30 *techniques* and a variety of universals. I think graduation is in May some time. I guess I'll have to break out the video camera!

Well I managed to hit both grocery stores and both drug stores today - quite a shopping day! New low of only $150 for the 2 grocery stores - wow! (Prior to the game we were spending $350-$400 a week on just grocery food). No particularly special deals this week - though I did get paid $2 for 3 bottles of excedrin migraine, so that was nice. I spent 15 min at Shaw's wondering why on earth I couldn't find the fish sticks when I finally figured out that they had their own case in the fish section! doh! Gorton's fish sticks were on sale $2.99 from $5.99 and I had three $0.75 off 2 coupons that get doubled. So I got 6 boxes! We feed the kids fish sticks when we have tilapia - haha. Got another free "Zone" bar simply because it's free ($1 off coupon and it only costs $1). Still haven't eaten the one I got last week, not even sure if I intend to! Someone will though.

I guess that's the news from here! Smells like dinner is almost ready - yay!
