I could definitely go for a couple extra hours in the day - anyone got any? It was a busy week at work to say the least, but I think maybe it'll settle down for a couple weeks, though maybe not!

Jocelyn went to her first play date on Friday. Josh dropped her off at her friend Madison's house and apparently she had an extremely good time because when Josh went to get her 2 hours later, she wouldn't leave! She pitched a huge screaming fit and Josh had to drag her out kicking and screaming. Madison's mom said she was a perfect house guest though, and that they played together the whole time. We're hoping Madison will now come over to our house to play some Friday (they don't have preschool on Fridays).

I managed to get Jesse's birthday presents wrapped yesterday, and then wrapped what Hanukkah presents I have so far today so that I could see where I was as far as shopping. Jocelyn and Jesse are done (in fact I have a few leftover for Jocelyn's birthday) and Timothy needs 4 and Morgan 3 so that's pretty good I think! Josh says he doesn't want anything and I think this year I'm going to just listen to him. Next I have to figure out where I am Christmas shopping - I think not as far along unfortunately and need to get my butt in gear as it's already October! eek!

We got Timothy signed up for basketball this fall, so that will be fun. Also it's inside - a giant plus over soccer! haha

Morgan is having good days at school these days. The only bad one this week was when his bus didn't show up. Josh called to see where they were and they said the bus broke down and wasn't going to be there. Umm, thanks for calling! So Josh had to drive him to school, which he did NOT like and he didn't recover the rest of the day. Other than that though, he's had good days.

Poor Jesse had a rough day today. First something bit him on the eyelid overnight because he's all swollen. I don't think it's pink eye because he's not itching it or touching it at all and it's not goopy. It's just swollen. Then Jocelyn shut his fingers in the door and then later Josh stepped on him. It's been a rough day! Funny thing is he likes to have hugs from me when he's hurt. The rest of the time he prefers Josh.

I went to open house at Jocelyn's school this week. Miss Dana said that all the girls look very pretty in their dresses but could they please wear shorts or leggings underneath so that circle time is less eventful - haha. Jocelyn can copy her name off a card - yay! They had all the kids pictures up on the wall and I swear they were the worst pictures! Even Jocelyn looked awful, though still clearly cuter than everyone else of course. Anyway, so I'm standing there wondering how you could make a group of kids look so homely and another mom comes over and says "ohmigod! it's driver's license photos!" I laughed and asked which one was hers and she said "mine is deer in the headlights over there". hahaha

I put 3T footsie PJs on Jesse tonight and they fit - yikes! Jocelyn's too tall for her 3Ts - or at least the 3Ts with the feet. The others fit fine.

Jocelyn has had a variety of imaginary school friends come over to play lately - cracks me up. Today Shelby was here and Jocelyn had one hand in a fist so clearly they were holding hands. Then they asked for the face blocks and played with blocks for a while.

I guess that's about it from here. Oh man, I have to organize teacher presents too! oyoyoy, too much to do!
