Thought you all might like to experience Jocelyn's new knock knock joke:

Jocelyn: knock knock

me: who's there

Jocelyn: door

me: door who

Jocelyn: the door has stinky poopie on it HAHAHAHAHA

Jesse: stinky poopie stinky poopie! HAHAHAHAHAHA

She came up with this in the car on the ride home from Maine and proceeded to tell the joke repeatedly, much to Jesse's delight, for about 20 minutes (doing both sides when I refused to say who's there any more). What a delight for the rest of us!

Jocelyn's also learned to lie, also fun. Mostly when I tell her to go use the bathroom and she tells me she already has. oy

We finally got some sun the last few days of vacation, not any heat to go with it, but some sun at least. I think on Wednesday and Friday it at least hit 75, but on Thursday I'm not even sure it hit 70. No matter, we all swam just the same!! We actually swam every day. Even the rainy days didn't rain ALL day.

We went down to the water in the evening on Wednesday and Jocelyn and Jesse went au natural. Jesse decided he was going to run into the water like daddy and got a bit of a surprise when he ended up waist deep with a little trouble stopping! I actually tossed the camera on the sand, jumped from my chair, and grabbed him, but he didn't fall under. What a waste of getting sand in my camera! haha - it worked out fine. Jocelyn was the only one who stumbled under water and just for a sec and she wasn't phased (she cried because I picked her up and she was trying to go in the other direction, so wanted me to walk the OTHER way). Morgan did choke while he was sitting down drinking lake water and ended up throwing up in the water - ew.

We drove home Friday night while the kids all slept at some point or another. Jesse was asleep by the highway, Jocelyn just after, Timothy about 30 min later and Morgan after that. The car seat in the middle made a nice headrest for Timothy and Morgan. It was relatively peaceful though we were both exhausted and I had to stay awake just to make sure Josh did. We had decided to leave at 4:30 and it took us close to 3 hours to pack and clean the house. But we made it and it ended up presentable and approximately how we found it. We hope to return to the same place next year.

That's about it from here. The car is unpacked and everything but the clothes are put away. It rained on the way home and all the clothes were on top of the car so they have to all be washed. That'll give Josh something to do this week! I managed to gain 5lbs on vacation, plus the 10 I've gained over the past 6 months, so yesterday I did a yoga video and today I started running again. I could only do a mile before I had to take a break. I need to force myself out of bed early and hit the pavement again tomorrow morning before work. oh work - phooey.
