"daaa deeee?"
"daaa deeee?"
"Joshhh?"
This is what we now wake up to from the monitor. After failing to get Daddy in there by calling him Daddy, Jesse resorts to calling him Josh in the oh-so-Rhonda inflection. Cracks me up!!
Jocelyn has been regularly asking me "do you understand?" and if I don't answer, I get "Do. You. Under. Stand??" I asked Josh if he had been saying that to her, but he said not that he knows of. I don't think I have? We might say it to Morgan on a regular basis though, so maybe that's it.
Also, every time Jocelyn finds something she loves, like today it was Care Bear Fruit Snacks, she says she loves it and wants to share it with Sage.
Timothy and I had a stomach bug on Friday. Unfortunately for me, I didn't figure it out until I was already AT work. So I got sick at work and then ran for home and spent the day in bed (well, in bed or being sick anyway). I felt generally better on Saturday, but having only eaten and kept down 2 popsicles for a whole day, I was notably short on energy and we had to miss the annual Father's Day BBQ at Elisabeth's. The kids were pretty bummed out to say the least! I felt much better today (especially since everyone slept through the night) and was well enough to get out and do my grocery shopping.
Not a lot else for news this week. I finally found a doll with no batteries and no special functions and it was 70% off so I ordered it for Jocelyn for Hanukkah - but I totally forgot to put it away and she found it and then of course said that she loved it and wanted to play with it straight away and generally couldn't live without it for one more minute. So now she has a new doll.
I think I'm out of stories. Or else I'm just too tired to remember. I hope all the dads out there had a super day!
