October 25, 2009

I work too much and I'm tired.  Health insurers taking a beating in the media on a daily basis isn't helping, nor is the flu epidemic, nor is the C+ I got in Accounting 15 years ago.

Timothy's at a Halloween party tonight.  Josh says he dropped him off and kids were screaming his name and cheering.  That's nice.  He also got his mid-term report card and is doing quite well, especially in math of course.

Josh was sick with a stomach bug this week and I worked from home most of the week.  Wednesday morning I even had to do all the kid stuff myself - gasp!  Morgan kept asking to go in the car, and when I'd remind him that he was going on the bus, he'd say no school, car.  I was afraid he'd have a rough day because of the change in routine, but the note that came home from the teacher said he was happy and giddy all day and had everyone laughing.  He kept the week going that way as well.

Morgan's teachers seem to have gotten him into a new speech routine.  Instead of saying "chicken?" he says "Mommy I want chicken."  He's never used our names to get our attention before, but now he's been doing it regularly.  It's adorable.

Jocelyn has decided that she's above using the boys' bathroom and uses the master bathroom instead.  She also won't share a drink with Jesse because he leaves "goobies" in it.  (It is true, it's not like she's making it up).

Jesse is having an issue with pants.  The 2Ts that fit him at the waist are much (MUCH) too short and the 3Ts that fit him for length are too big at the waist and he has to walk around holding them up.  We cleaned out his room today and managed to find at least a few pairs with adjustable waists that I could tighten pretty much all the way so they'd stay up.  Skinny little thing.  (Meanwhile Morgan has the opposite problem - his 12 Huskies are already too small and he seems to be growing by the minute).

It was nice out today so we managed to get the kids looking somewhat presentable and got outside to take holiday pictures plus a picture of just Jesse since he doesn't have school pictures.  So I guess now that I got that taken care of, I better figure what everyone is wearing for Halloween next week!  haha
