It's been a busy time the last few weeks. Both the kids seem to be not throwing up any more and mostly healthy, at least temporarily. I had a parent teacher conference with Timothy's teacher last week - which I could summarize as he's very bright and a little weird, so basically no surprise. She implied he was the best reader in the class. Had Morgan's conference tonight, which also went well. Seems he's ready to start riding the bus, so we'll start that in December and Josh won't have to drop off and pick up any more. The summary from Morgan's conference was that it's not a matter of can't, it's a matter of won't, so no surprise there either.

Timothy came to work with me for a few hours Tuesday morning and we had a fabulous time. He was very excited about the cafeteria, so we went there for breakfast and he had eggs and chocolate milk. The only issue we had is that he wanted to use the men's room, not the women's room, and I wasn't quite ready for that. When I explained I wouldn't be able to go with him, he conceded to using the women's room. He met lots of people. He hung out with Rick (who I worked at Andersen with) for a while. When I got home I asked him what he liked about going to work with me (he also said he liked my new work better than my old work, and since he wasn't even 4 when he went to my old work, I was surprised he even remembered it) and this is how our conversation went:

"So Timothy, what did you like about going to my work?"
"Well, I liked Pete."
"Who's Pete?"
"You know, the one with the mustache."
"Oh, Rick?"
"No, Pete"
"With the dark hair and the beard and the mustache?"
"Yeah"
"That's Rick"
"But it says Pete on his wall"

He's right, it does say Pete on his wall because he sits in a cubicle and the person behind him is Pete and that's how the name tags work. I thought this was hysterical. He also read every sign on the highway on our drive in ("Exit 59 - Silver Lane, last call for Exit 59").

A new girl started in Timothy's class, Megan, and Megan is Isabel's friend but not Timothy's and so Isabel is not Timothy's girlfriend any more. She's going after Jordan Wolfe. I tell you, the fast paced knock down world of PM kindergarten can be rough!

I had an annual exam a few weeks back and the doctor thought there might be fibroids so I had an ultrasound today to see if there were and the uterus looks good, so that's good news. Basically, a good day.
