Happy 2006 everyone!!

Let's see ... A few days before Christmas Jocelyn took her first steps! It was very exciting. She can only do 5 or 6 in a row, but is now having fun walking between the new coffee table that Grandma built us and the couch. She is quite good at standing and often lets go of whatever she's hanging on to just to show us how good she is. She's quite proud of herself and I see another self-promoter in the works.

Jocelyn had bronchitis this week and had to see the doctor. She's doing mostly better now though still has the cold part - as now do Josh and I. I felt pretty cruddy yesterday and spent the day on the couch. I'm hoping today will be a bit better. Anyway, she was very good at the doctor and played with the doctor's beard while he was listening to her chest and back. She didn't even mind when he looked in her ears.

We've spent the week trying to get Morgan's finger healed and have been marginally successful. He managed to bite his nail and cuticle enough to get a rather nasty and disgusting infection, so we've been soaking it daily in very warm water and applying antibiotic cream. He won't keep a bandaid on, which is a challenge. But it does look a good deal better.

I think Josh is getting pretty sick of having us all home and will be happy when he has his house back. The mess from Christmas is mostly gone, and I even cleaned my office and my closet this week, which were both models of disorganization and clutter.

Timothy's been rather bored this week but has at least had many new toys and video games to keep him occupied. We've also been playing a lot of Mario Kart (me, Josh, and Timothy) and that is SUCH a fun game!

Tonight is the last night of Chanukah so no more presents after tonight.
