10 years! phew, we made it. Another 40 or 50 to go I hope. Ok, so who were the doubters out there - come on, I know there was someone!
I took today off and we're going to go out to lunch (with Jocelyn of course) and then do a little shopping. We found out this week that we're having a BOY! So we're going to look for a coming home outfit for him, and maybe a few other things of course. My boys clothes for 0-3 and most of the 3-6 are all the wrong season so I get to do some shopping - yay! Once he gets a little bigger to where the clothes fit for longer I should have plenty. We still can't decide on a name despite intensive discussion over the last few days. The ultrasound was very fun because every time the tech asked him to do something he did - a very obedient son! All organs and limbs are accounted for - and he's measuring a few days ahead of schedule. My doctor still will only deliver at the farther away hospital, but as a compromise she offered to induce me a week(ish) early so we didn't have to worry about making it to the hospital on time, so that's nice.
Baby's been kicking up a storm this week, so hard that I'm able to feel some from the outside already. I downloaded 40 minutes worth of Mozart last night and have started my Mozart regimen like I did for Jocelyn (one controversial treatment for autism is playing mozart through a machine that simulates what the music would sound like through amniotic fluid - we haven't tried it on Morgan as it requires wearing headphones, but the babies have no choice when they are still inside me)!
On the subject of my belly - it's huge! I wore non-maternity clothes (that started out 2 sizes too big, but non-maternity just the same) still this week but it was the last time.
Jocelyn now says hi on a regular basis and calls everyone daddy - so basically right now daddy means hey you big person. She seems to be getting cuter by the minute, if that's even possible. She wore her new bikini last weekend to help wash the car - which was just too cute! She and Morgan played at the water table together which was also adorable.
Last weekend was dumpster weekend! The dumpster arrived Friday and we started around 8am on Saturday throwing stuff away. It was full by noon!! So now the garage is clean and so is the basement - yay! We can even get both cars in the garage.
The coil on one garage door snapped a few weeks ago so someone is coming out tomorrow to have a look and I hope fix it.
I got a considerable amount of work done in the garden last weekend and it's almost cleared out. We planted a dwarf lilac bush and have a little more work to do before we can plant actual flowers I took out a couple rhododendrons and a couple evergreen type bushes - the stumps were nearly impossible to remove but with Josh's help and a few hours of intense sweating, we got most of them. My parents sent us a garden bench for our anniversary which was delivered yesterday. We'll see if we can get it put together today or tomorrow.
Saturday is Timothy's birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese's so that should be fun. Then Sunday on his actual birthday he's going to someone else's birthday party at a bowling alley. Full weekend!
