The boys started school on Wednesday and both have had great starts. Morgan has transitioned much more smoothly than anticipated, even to the longer days (9: 15 - 2). He has rest time after lunch, which he also does quietly. As far as I know, he's had no crying. Tomorrow (and Fridays in general) he goes 9 - 12.

When I asked Timothy how his first day was, he said it was SO AWESOME. He's even more excited this evening as he's found that one of his teeth is loose! He's quite anxious to lose a tooth. Anyway, he has managed to navigate the cafeteria, which is what I was most worried about, and he’s loving school all around.

Earlier in the week Morgan came into the kitchen pointing to his nose and saying "help". Josh informed him that he was on his own to pick his nose. But he persisted with the “help, help”. Just as Josh was walking over to figure out what on earth he wanted, he let go a big sneeze and a nice big kernel of popcorn came jetting across the kitchen! I hope he found it uncomfortable enough not to do it any more!

Oh yeah, and the potty training is going rather well with Morgan. He won't tell you he has to go, but if you remember to have him go every couple hours, he doesn't have accidents. At school he wears a diaper for now, but they take it off him every hour and have him use the potty. We'll transition to underwear (pull-ups give him big diaper rash for some reason) after a couple weeks of the school routine.

My boss is finally coming out of denial that I am going to move to another dept, and we've started interviewing candidates for my current job. Unfortunately, he doesn't like any of them because, as he says, they aren't me. So this one isn't funny enough or that one isn’t creative enough or that one doesn't have enough opinions (who knew that was a pro?). I told him he was going to have to suck it up and pick someone! For now we're widening the search, so if anyone knows an actuary looking for a job, let me know!
