Good morning all!

Well, let's see, what did we do this week? The boys went back to school and Morgan had an "excellent" week. Here's an excerpt from one of his teachers:

"Morgan is doing so very very well in my class lately! I have seen so many wonderful improvements in him over the past month or so (both in and out of my room). He seems so happy lately, and is not tantruming nearly as much as he was. He's also not acting aggressively neariy as often! I rarely hear him crying or screaming now.

This week at Circle, Morgan has been very into participating in the weather report. On Monday and Tuesday it was cloudy, so the Weather Bear didn't need sunglasses, Morgan said, "More sunglasses please?" because he knew the bear didn't have glasses on like he usually does. So because he said it so appropriately, I let him put the sunglasses on even though it was cloudy, Then yesterday he was the "Weather Man" because the special helper was absent, Morgan walked to the window, told me it was sunny, then started everyone off Singing the "Morgan says it's sunny" song, He then put the sunny card in the correct place on the graph and dressed the bear according to what the other students told him to put on.

Today Morgan did great again, He sang almost every song, did all the parts of circle, and then he started getting very excited because we did the "Dinosaur Pokey". After the "Dina Pokey", he was flapping a lot, and I told him "Quiet hands." He repeated me "quiet hands," then put his hands in his lap; then he was getting ready to flap again, but instead walked up to me and said "More squishy ball please?" I thought that was excellent that he was really trying not to flap, and instead redirected himself to ask for a ball to hold! I think that's just great! It looks like Morgan has gotten past that difficult time he was having, and is much happier and back to himself now!"

Timothy and I got a good report form the dentist on Tuesday (and Jocelyn slept the whole time we were gone - an added bonus).

Morgan spelled out Timothy's name the other day - he says T-I-M-O-T-H-Y, Morgan! Too funny.

Jocelyn's sleep habits have regressed this week and she was generally up every hour for most of the week. Last night she did every two hours, so that was a refreshing change. She must be going through a growth spurt or something as she's been eating even more frequently than before! As if that was possible.

My mom came down yesterday and brought the granddaddy of all desks down with her. We managed to pry it into the study and it looks quite nice. She held Jocelyn while I somewhat organized the room and then we took Timothy to the mall and to eat at Friendly's - his favorite. She bought Timothy a video game, so of course he spent the afternoon playing it and talking about how great it was to have Grandma here. (Not that he wouldn't have done so without that, but it helped!).

We watched the Cat in the Hat movie last night. It was pretty dumb, but both the boys were glued to it and Morgan found it hysterical, so we watched the whole thing.

I guess that's about it, Monday Jocelyn goes to the doctor for her 1-month appt (and shots! ouch!). Thursday Josh is having his wisdom teeth out and I've got Timothy's parent-teacher conference. Tuesday or Wednesday I might go see a coworker of mine who just had a baby last week and get some pictures of her baby (Ethan) with Jocelyn.
