I had a doctor's appt today and I got to have another ultrasound to follow up on some shots they missed from last time. Definitely still a boy! I was encouraged by the fact that the head was measuring a bit on the small side (since big is a sign of autism, I find small to be preferable) and the legs a bit on the long side (like a whole week ahead!) and everything put together was EXACTLY my due date.
Nuchal was good, knuckles were good (something about babies with Down's don't have a fifth knuckle or something? but this baby had all the knuckles he was supposed to), and every other thing that was supposed to be a certain number or less was indeed less - so yay! He was also INCREDIBLY CUTE! The u/s tech remarked that he was showing off his manliness and had flashed her at least a dozen times - men! He was VERY active - which I'm sure had nothing to do with the OJ I downed right before I went. The hr was 165 so I clearly made the poor kid hyper!
I only gained 1 Ib since last appt! - but I have gained 15 total, ugh.
My bp was 112/62. I asked about my dizzy spells and she said the ones that happen when I'm getting off the couch are probably a blood pressure thing but wasn't sure about the 2 that happened while I was just standing there. She said let her know if it keeps happening and I said I'd be sure to give her a call if I actually pass out.
Today was the last day of school so both the boys came home with about a bazillion different papers and projects. The laundry room is pretty much full. Timothy has several packets of homework to work on over the summer and I had to hide them so he wouldn't finish them all today. He had an EXCELLENT report card - I'm really proud of him. His writing marks improved dramatically over the last marking period, which is what was needing the most work. He clearly worked very hard on that, and also on art which I know he doesn't like but he got an E+ (ok, it's a weird scoring system - but you basically either get an E-, E, or E+) and I told him I was very happy with that and he said all he did was try his best. Well that's about all I can ask isn't it!
Morgan’s report card came home too and he can count to 110 now and made some other improvements. He knows all the sight words, all the letters in uppercase and lowercase, and almost all the sounds (just working on a hard G). He has strengths and weaknesses but all in all he had a great year. He only has a few weeks off before summer school which starts July 5th.
Poor Jocelyn isn't feeling well today - she's got a fever and is whining and just not quite herself. But then, we saw everyone Sunday and now it's been 48 hours so that's about right - doh!
I had some other stuff to report but I forget now. Ahhhh pregnancy. I’ll remember by this weekend perhaps.
