Well, let's see. Pretty eventful week here!

Monday Jocelyn had her 1 month doctor's appt. She's up to 81bs 110z and 20.5 inches - woo hoo! Little piggy! Her thrush is almost gone,

Wednesday we went to look at a house that was very nicely decorated, but not quite big enough.

Thursday Josh had his wisdom teeth out. He came home and was still rather out of it, or must've been because he spit blood all over the floor and followed up with a weird psycho laugh, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he wouldn't have done that normally. He was pretty miserable all afternoon, and I had to leave him with both boys while Jocelyn and I went to Timothy's parent teacher conference (which went glowingly of course). He finally took the advil I'd been pushing all afternoon and then felt much better. He's doing fine now and is not noticeably swollen.

While Josh was spitting blood, I was on the phone with our neighbor Adriana, who is also our realtor, talking about a house she found. It's at the top of our price range but has 4200 sq ft!! So Friday morning I called a mortgage person and got pre-qualified for an adequate mortgage to bid on the house and Friday afternoon we went over to see it. IT'S SO AWESOME!! 4 bedrooms upstairs plus a loft area upstairs, then FR, LR, DR, eat-in kitchen, laundry room, 3-season sunroom, and an office downstairs. The master bedroom is 18x28 - pretty much bigger than my whole house right now!

Full basement with sliders out to the backyard and a partially finished room in the middle of it (which is actually a bit awkward, but whatever - it'll make a perfect craft room for my various unfinished projects). Not much in the way of a yard, which is almost perfect for us, but walking distance from the middle school. Timothy would have to change schools, but I'm sure he could handle it. Really the only drawback is that each room has uglier wallpaper than the one before - what were they thinking! And since we'd be spending every last penny that we have to get it, we'd have to live with the ugliness for a while (and have several rooms with no furniture in them).

The dining room has shiny puke green birds all over it - ick! Oh yeah, and it's electric heat, but hey, what are you going to do?

So Adriana called the listing agent and found out he already had an offer on the house but hadn't presented it yet so if we could get it to him by 11am today he'd present them both at once. So we made an offer for full asking price, but had to ask for a late closing date since we haven't even put our house on the market yet. When she turned the offer in this AM, she found out there was a 3rd offer made this AM. Yikes! So right now we're waiting and keeping our fingers crossed - everyone hold your breath!

So that's the news from here - just spending the day sitting on pins and needles and making a list of all the things we have to get done to this house to get it on the market. Most of it is not too bad, but will likely keep us very busy for at least a week. If the snow would melt, that would help a lot (or at least stop falling!!).
