Well let's see let's see. WE'RE MOVING IN LESS THAN A WEEK!!

Monday Jocelyn had her 4 month check up, which came with 4 shots. Josh said she took them like a champ and smiled at the nurse afterwards. She weighs 12 Ibs 9 oz and is 24 in, putting her around the 50th percentile for each. She's a little peanut to me, but seems we've finally found "average" in a baby.

I found religion this week at a satellite broadcast of a talk by Jack Welch. I was ready to drink the whole pitcher of kool-aid by the end of it - he's so awesome! I agreed with him on every point and just wanted to jump up and yell amen at several of them. Rudy Guilliani opened for him. He was fine, but of the mindset that leaders are made, not born, and I tend to disagree (unless you are saying they are made when they are children, which I might be talked into, but once you're an adult, either you are or you aren't).

He had some funny stories but also a big ego. Steven Covey closed the day (the 7 effective habits guy) and he was SO AWFUL!! Besides being full of management speak crap, he was the worst speaker ever and I walked out after 15 minutes. Glad he was last though, since then I got to leave Bridgeport at 3:45 instead of 5 and saved myself considerable travel time coming home.

I almost had to mame an HR person who told me to check with someone who was out the office before I set up a meeting. Ugh - this is why nothing ever gets done! So I left the out of office person a voicemail on Thursday and she didn't get back to me and so I set it up anyway on Friday (for a Tuesday meeting), but I set it up for a time when the HR person couldn't make it - so THERE. The HR person's assistant called to try to get me to reschedule but I told her in a sickeningly sweet voice that I understand how busy the HR person is and we'll just have to find a way to carry on without her. In other words, she can bite me.

The boys' last day of school was Tuesday so Josh is pretty much home-bound for the summer. It seems the boys are playing together a little more than they used to, so that's cool and we're trying to encourage that as much as possible. Jocelyn refuses to be left out of anything so is always in the middle of the mix. When I got home Wednesday Josh and Jocelyn were sitting at the bottom of the stairs hitting a beach ball to Timothy and Morgan at the top of the stairs.

Most of the packing is done and most of the cleaning as well. Everything gets a box this weekend even if the box stays open until the last minute (like the box that the shower curtain will go in!). The movers will be here Thursday morning at 7:30 (I hope!!) and I would think that by 5 or 6 we'll be all moved into our new place. I'm so excited!! The cable/ internet guy is coming Friday morning, so my computer should be back up next week with only a slight lapse of service.

Oh yeah, so we ordered 8 new office chairs for the kitchen table that were supposed to be delivered next Friday. Well UPS called yesterday to ask why no one was home when they tried to deliver them the day before! Good thing no one was home!! So I explained we didn't live there yet and could she re-deliver on the 24th and she said no problem and was very nice.

We had a thunder storm Thursday night. Morgan LOVES thunder. He loves thunder, he loves fireworks, he'd probably love gun shots. Such a weirdo! So I'm jumping out of my skin because it's so loud and he's running around the house saying ready ... set ... BOOOM!!!

Ok, off to find some breakfast and then get started with the last of the packing. Hope everyone enjoys their weekend,
