Timothy moved up to a yellow belt this week. He was SOOOO excited about it. I went to his graduation and watched him show off all the moves he's learned. Then the part where they actually get the belt, a parent stands behind them while the teacher kicks them in the stomach (or more like pushes them lightly with his foot) so they fall backwards and the parent catches them. Timothy watched it happen to the first kid in line and then turned to me and said, "But I don't want to hurt the baby". How sweet is that? He had such a good time showing off all his moves and was so so happy to come home with his yellow belt and certificate.

Tuesday was Morgan's field trip to the pumpkin patch. Josh said that Morgan was a thousand times better than last year and even went on the hayride willingly. He also said the Moms were nice to him (Josh that is) for the first time, and he talked to many of them. One was a room mother in Timothy's class and went on and on about how wonderful Timothy is - so I bet that was a fun conversation!

Morgan's Halloween party at school was Thursday - all the POP kids get in their costumes and have a parade around the school. Timothy said he saw Morgan and said hi to him. I asked if Morgan said hi back, but Timothy said, "Mommy, Morgan can't talk remember?" Actually, Morgan's been talking a lot more lately, and singing A LOT more - where most of the words are distinguishable, so we're pleased that he continues to make progress.

Friday the school nurse called. I guess Timothy had bitten off a little too much of his hot dog at lunch and started choking. He was fine but she just wanted to let us know. Friday was Timothy's Halloween party. He LOVES his Batman costume. He was already wearing it when I got up this morning, and informed me that he wished it was Halloween already.

Last night Timothy and I went to Target for toilet paper, coffee, and milk, but obviously came home with a lot more than that. He desperately needed sweat pants, which they had on sale 2 pairs for $9, so I got him 4 pairs. I also got him snow pants and a winter coat and 2 pairs of long johns. I warned him ahead of time that we wouldn't be getting any games, so he was good about not asking once we were there. I did let him go look while I was looking at videos, which is hard because he's just out of sight when that happens, but he's so ready to be off on his own. Still, I kept peeking around the aisles to make sure he was still there. I picked up some face paint and intend to paint a big pumpkin on my belly today. I think Timothy will have fun helping.
