I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving - we certainly had a fun visit in Boxboro. Now today is clean the house up day, and I think Josh's Uncle Aaron will stop by later on. I thought I would wrap a few Christmas presents and also print up the notes for Timothy's advent calendar. For a moment, perhaps I'll stop to reflect upon all the things I'm thankful for this year.
Certainly I'm thankful for a growing extended family I got to make 2 new stockings this year - one for our new niece Sage and one for Elisabeth’s boyfriend Rob. I'm thankful that I remain employed in this rather cruddy economy. I'm thankful that South Windsor has such a great pre-school program for Morgan, and that he is thriving there. I'm thankful to have a loving husband that doesn't seem to mind how demanding I am (at least most of the time). I'm thankful for television - what did people do without it? Most of all I'm thankful for my two wonderful sons who amaze me each day as they learn and grow. I'm thankful for the hugs and kisses, and even for the earlier-than-I'd-like wake-up calls.
