July 20, 2006

Morgan had such a nice birthday - I was so glad to see him excited about it. We all wished him happy birthday a million times and Timothy kept calling him the birthday boy. He got to bring cupcakes to school and then after a pancake dinner on Sponge Bob plates we put candles in hostess cupcakes and sang happy birthday over and over so he could blow the candles out over and over, which he LOVED! Then he sang happy birthday daddy so we would do it again - hee hee hee.

We had all his presents in a gift bag and he actually stood there and took them out one by one and seemed excited, which was so nice to see. My mom got him a virtual fish tank, which is pretty neat and was a big hit. Josh picked out some great stuff including one of the multi-bubble electric bubble wands, which we took outside and had quite a bit of fun with. All the kids loved the bubbles, and Jocelyn even had a sound effect that she did when she popped them. Josh took a bunch of pictures while I did the bubbles so I'll put some up on the web site this weekend.

Then the boys went in and played Morgan's new Sponge Bob video game while I put Jocelyn to bed. Morgan's already learned to answer 6 when asked how old he is. It was a great day for him and so fun to see him excited about it!
