The good news from the doctor today is that I'm 3cm dilated - woo hoo! However, my cervix is still long and baby is high, so I don't think there will be any action in the next couple weeks, but nice to know these contractions are not for nothing. Baby is just under 5lbs, so measuring about 5 or so days small, but doc says that's fine. The baby is nose first right now, so she needs to tuck her chin under or else it's going to be a rougher delivery than the others - but on the upside I have a "good pelvis" (is that a compliment coming from an OB?) and should be able to deliver her nose first if necessary. Sounds a little unpleasant though!
