What a week what a week! Things with Elisabeth's lovely wedding went relatively smoothly. Morgan made it down the aisle without being dragged, though it was close. Jocelyn was very good except for a poop explosion on the way to the rehearsal dinner. Timothy had the time of his life at the wedding and all related events!
I still have no chairs. They made it safely back to CA I'm told and are now turned around and headed back this way. We'll see! I found some bar stools 70% off and ordered those, so those should be here this week too.
I got the bathroom wallpaper stripped yesterday and got it taped and primed and I've narrowed the color choice down to 2 (both are purples). I picked the color for Morgan's room but still have to scrape some paper off his walls, tape the rooms off, and prime. We'll see if I can get that done today - I got a late start as Jocelyn decided not to sleep through the night last night so Josh let me sleep in.
One set of neighbors brought us a tray of warm chocolate chip cookies today - so I like them already! They are young (looked about our age - maybe she was a bit younger and he a bit older) and have an 18 month old. They said all the houses that have turned over this year (which is 4 or 5) in the neighborhood have been young people with kids, so that's nice. I guess 2 doors down is a 10 year old and 7 year old, and across the street and 2 doors down is a 18 month old and 5 year old that have bought the place but not yet moved in.
I was starring at the bedroom last night wondering how I am going to get it painted. I think I'll need a power painter or else my arms may fall off. I may at least get the wallpaper stripped this week and see if Mom will help me with it when she's down next Sunday. I also need to strip and prime the room in the basement. I may just paint that white, but maybe not. Who knows?! Too many rooms to decide on! I think we've decided to make the dining room into a play room, but I'm going to pick a rug for it before I decide on the colors, and since we have nothing to put in it yet, it's pretty far down on my list.
Morgan starts summer school tomorrow, so I hope he has fun. He's got a new teacher so I hope he doesn't bite her!
