Good morning everyone! I'm up early this morning as I went to bed early last night, so I have the pleasure of being in a very quiet house right now. Timothy actually woke up just a bit ago but Uncle Jeremy is asleep on the couch, so I asked him to go watch TV in his room for a bit.

I woke up yesterday with a sore throat covered in white spots so decided I better not risk exposing everyone and we stayed home. I actually feel fine besides the throat, and this morning even that feels much better. If the spots are gone, which I haven't had a chance to check yet, we hope to drop by the hospital and see Tim and Amy's new son (if the spots aren't gone, we'll just have to wait until they are - no way I'm going to be responsible for exposing a brand new baby to my germs!).

Ethan was born on Wednesday, weighing in at 81bs 20z and measuring 21 inches. Josh went down Wednesday afternoon and picked up Abbey (their dog) and she's been staying with us. We'll return her today as Tim's parents will be there. She's been a great house guest, though she is starting to get home sick and I'm sure will be happy to go home today.

She doesn't pay much attention to Jocelyn - except when Jocelyn's in the high chair! Jocelyn is at the stage where when she's done eating she throws everything over the side of the high chair. Abbey finds this game delightful and quite honestly, we enjoy the clean-up help. Don't tell Tim, but we've also been letting her clean the high chair once Jocelyn is out of it - I assume veggie puffs are ok for dogs ...

Uncle Joey came over yesterday and pre-cooked our turkey and fixin's for tonight's dinner. Uncle Jeremy arrived around 7pm and then Susan and Jonathan should be here mid-afternoon today. We're very excited that Uncle Aaron and Abbe will be stopping by for a quick visit this morning. They are only up for a few days as Abbe's busy with law school, so we're happy we'll get to see them, and that they'll get to meet Jocelyn.

We were able to get the house generally picked up and vacuumed yesterday, so the only thing left to do this morning is to change the sheets on Timothy's bed as that will be where Susan and Jonathan will stay. I had forgotten that Abbey (the dog) has an intense dislike of the vacuum cleaner and attacks it ferociously. So I had to vacuum and block at the same time.

I guess that's about it from here. Hope everyone had a great turkey day and enjoys the rest of the long weekend!
