I am sooooooo tired! I did enough painting this weekend to last me roughly forever! I spent last weekend and the weeks during the night stripping wallpaper in the bedroom and office, which took eons. Then Friday night I primed the office and put on the first coat. Saturday morning I cheated and arranged the furniture first before putting on the second coat - just on the parts that were showing. I was already sick of painting! None the less I spent 7 hours painting the bedroom on Saturday - 3 hours to rolls it and 4 hours to do the trim. Ugh. I thought my arms were going to falloff by the end of it. Then Mom came down yesterday and helped me put on the second coat, which went much faster since a) we didn't do the trim again, just got close, and b) there were 2 of us.
My chairs FINALLY arrived and I got 3 put together during the week and then 3 more while I was waiting for Mom to arrive yesterday and then the other two once she was here. The last one didn't come with hardware, so we had to run out to Lowe's to get something close. We also cut the barstools down so that they fit under the counter, and they turned out quite nice actually.
Wednesday was Morgan's birthday. He got to bring Oreos to school, which he liked very much. We got a cake so he could blowout the candles, but he doesn't eat cake, so he had more Oreos for dessert. Timothy helped him open his presents - a bubble machine and a bubble gun, and so we had bubble fun for a while before bed.
Timothy went back to Boxboro yesterday and I believe Elisabeth is going to return him here on Thursday. I'm off to FL today for a work conference and won't be back until Thursday night. Ugh - I'm not looking forward to it. Apparently we'll be working well into the nights with barely bathroom breaks during the day.
I think Jocelyn is cutting her bottom teeth - they seem like they want to poke through but haven't as of yet. She continues to be just the cutest thing ever.
