Well it was a red-letter week this week - Jocelyn learned to blow raspberries! Now we're all covered in baby spit all the time. One of her favorite past times is to take a nice big mouthful of breast milk and spit it allover me - how fun!
On the house front we locked in our mortgage rate and got the last of our paperwork in. Josh made a million phone calls (electric co, gas co, etc etc) and we set our closing times (2:30 and 3:30 on the 23rd). Looking around at all the packing I have left to do has depressed me this morning, so I'm taking a time out to write this note.
Friday was Dad's Donut Day in the first grade so I went in late to work so that Josh could go. They sang a bunch of songs and all said why their dad was special (Josh was special because he buys Timothy pizza - apparently it was not uncommon for dads to be special for buying take-out).
Tuesday is the last day of school so I must run out and get gifts for the teachers. _ one more thing to add to my list. Think they would mind if I just gave them cash?
Jocelyn generally slept through the night this week, so looks like we have a pattern going. In fact, most mornings I had to wake her up to feed her before I went to work. Pumping continues to go crappy but I'm hanging in there.
I guess it was a pretty uneventful week because now I'm out of stories. Today I'm having Timothy write all his thank-you notes, but it is slow going because he keeps getting distracted. He's getting about 1 done every 30 minutes, and then has to take a break since it was such hard work! We'll get them out eventually.
