Monday I finally decided it had been long enough since I'd been to the gynecologist (3 yrs) and I should probably make an appt. I decided to get a new doctor in South Windsor since it was silly to go to Manchester, so called around to see who was taking new patients. My first call, the office was closed, but the second place took my information and said the doctor could see me. The next day! I was a little shocked to say the least, but turns out they had just added a new doctor to the practice and so the schedule was still filling up.

So Tuesday I went to the doctor and turns out my uterus feels enlarged and tipped backwards, which the doctor suspects is due to fibroids, so I'll go back on the 12th for an ultrasound to see if that's the case and how big they are if it is and if they will prevent me from getting pregnant again in the future.

I don't know if I mentioned last week that Timothy had some sort of stomach bug that caused him to throw up everything he ever ate all over our bed a week ago Thursday. He missed school that Friday and this past Monday, and then Monday night he had a repeat. So weird. Both times at night and besides a cold and being a little tired, didn't really have any symptoms during the day.

This Thursday night it was Morgan's turn, though Morgan's symptoms have also included explosive diarrhea, and not only at night, and not the kind that will be contained by a diaper. Though he managed to get a little trick or treating in Friday evening, he came home and went to bed and woke up throwing up. Last night the schedule was a bit earlier and Josh managed to not only read the signs, but also get him into the bathroom on time and (mostly) get him to hit the toilet.

Yesterday was spent disinfecting their bedroom and the bathrooms. Josh went out and bought $50 worth of cleaning supplies and we did everything from the carpet to the beds to the toilets.

Friday night we went trick or treating with our neighbor.  Josh and Morgan came out only for 5 or 6 houses in the immediate area and then went back home. Morgan got the hang of it by the end and did pretty well, a little whining but no real crying.

Timothy and I continued on with our neighbor and her 2 1/2 year old Geena. Geena and Timothy had a great time; both of them were very much getting into it and Geena would say Happy Halloween as we left each house. I was pretty tired when we got back and couldn't believe Geena had held up better than I did (though she wasn't trudging around in a sumo wrestler costume!). Timothy was quite happy with his haul - especially the Dots for some reason.

I went to Target to pick up a few things yesterday, including a clock for Timothy, who had requested one for his room so he could know when it was morning. Last night we reminded him it was there and that on Saturdays and Sundays, morning doesn't start until 8:30. At 7:30 he walked into our bedroom and asked if it was morning yet. "What does your clock say?" He threw his hand up over his mouth and gasped. "Ooops," he said. But it got him back into his room until 9:00 - when he came back and told us that 8:30 had already happened and could he get up now.
