Yesterday I came downstairs to find that Timothy had gotten into the face paints we used last weekend on my stomach and had covered the better part of his face and torso with them, not to mention a good portion of the couch. I totally forgot to take a picture!! Anyway, in case anyone ever needs to know how to get face paint out of a couch, this product called Simply Green seems to do the trick rather well. As far as getting it off Timothy, that was a bit tougher, but it mostly came off. He had gone particularly heavily over his eyebrows, and that's just going to have to wear off, so he's looking just a tad on the odd side.
The boys had fun trick or treating. Morgan did quite well, following Timothy and our neighbor Geena up to each door and saying thank you when he got candy. He really didn't care about the candy much, but seemed to have a good time. We dropped him back at home after 7 or 8 houses and continued on to the rest of the neighborhood. Timothy and Geena raced to each door - the first one there got to press the doorbell and I guess this was quite an honor. Anyway, Timothy got 21 candies, as he says, and even offered to share with me.
We went up to MA yesterday and got to see Mandy's family. Morgan almost seemed to be playing along with the other kids for a bit of time. Actually, he and Sage had a whole game going on for a little while that was quite cute. They were even taking turns. Then Morgan was imitating Ruby (as was Sage) who was throwing herself to the ground after Timothy had demonstrated his karate moves.
I continue to get rounder and more uncomfortable. I no longer look forward to sleeping as I simply cannot get comfortable. Rolling over is a killer, yet staying on one side is not an option due to various appendages falling asleep if I stay on one side too long. Ouch! Jocelyn remains quite active. Yesterday when I was taking a bath she jumped up hard and my stomach rose several inches temporarily.
We made a birthday card for my dad yesterday and Morgan wrote his name on it all by himself! It was quite impressive.
