Big news this week – Morgan ate an ice cream sandwich! We’ve been trying to get him to eat ice cream for years now, so this was pretty exciting. He made a face with the first couple teeny weeny bites he took, and handed the sandwich back to Josh, but then he kept wanting it back again and finally he realized he liked it and inhaled the rest of it.
I had a parent teacher conference with Morgan’s teacher on Thursday night, but we communicate so much via email that there wasn’t much new to learn. Morgan brought his Mozart Music Blocks toy for show and tell this week and Miss Dana said it was the biggest hit of the year. I was thinking about getting a new one at Target today and donating the one he has to his classroom. Miss Dana thought it would be a good toy to calm Morgan down when he’s having a bad day.
Timothy walked into a door at school and has a nice big bruise on his face. Then he got on the wrong bus by mistake, which was rather traumatizing, but he held it together until he got home.
