Timothy says to me last weekend, “Mommy, do you know what sexual means?”  A little taken a back, I said, “Yes, do you?”  He explained to me that it’s when a girl likes a girl or a boy likes a boy.  “Oh,” I said, “that’s HOMOsexual.”

“Yeah,” he says, “and what’s the one where a boy likes a girl?”
“Heterosexual,” I reply.
“Mommy, I'm heterosexual.  Want to know why?”
“Why?”
“Because of Isabel!”
“That’s nice Timothy.”

Morgan had an excellent day on Monday, a cruddy day on Tuesday (he hit his teacher) and missed the last two days because of the snow.  On Monday his communication sheet said: during centers today, Morgan didn’t want to play in the sand any more, so he looked up and said, “I want a new center.”  This was spontaneous and not just something we taught him.

Wow!  A five-word sentence all on his own!  It was thrilling.
