Timothy checked the mail all by himself this week.  Josh and I watched from the door.  He was so proud of himself!  It was just adorable.  He’s getting so grown up.  He changes movies in the DVD player all by himself now, which means that he’s convenient to have around when Morgan needs his movie changed.

Timothy and I were playing rock, paper, scissors last night and for some reason Morgan found this quite entertaining.  After we were done Morgan continued on his own.  He didn’t get his hand shapes (unless he was always choosing paper) and the word scissors wasn’t real clear, but the rest was and it was adorable!

Morgan walked up to Uncle Joey this week and said, “Gimme five” and held his hand out.  School has taught him to add “please” to the end of his sentences now, so he says,”I want … please.”  We learned the dinner in “I want more dinners please” means tuna noodle casserole.  The kid is addicted, which is just hysterical.  I mean, I like it and all, but come on!  Oh yeah, and he says “come on” now and when he’s touching the television he tells himself to sit down.  He doesn’t always listen to himself, but that’s hardly the point.

Mom/Grandma was down for a visit yesterday and got a chance to play some Mario Kart and some Super Monkey Ball with me and Timothy.  Mario Kart was not her game, but she found her calling with Super Monkey Ball and whipped us both.  Timothy thought Grandma was about the coolest person on the planet for playing video games with us, and spent the rest of the day talking about how he wanted her to come live with us.
