"Daddy, where's that other remote?"
"What other remote?
"That other remote with the 5 buttons."
"What other remote?"
"You know, that other remote with the 5 buttons, the one that the TV talks out of."
Thinking, thinking
"Oh, you mean the radio?"
"Yeah, that remote."

"Hey Daddy, how's your brother doing?"
"Which brother?"
"You know, your brother, Uncle Tim."

I'm not sure if he figured that Tim was Josh's brother since we call him Uncle Tim, or if he thinks all people our age are brothers and sisters, but it was still cute either way.

Morgan's been sick this week, had to go to the doctor, where he allowed for a very limited check up, and got some antibiotics (his first time being sick enough for antibiotics) which seem to be doing the trick.

He's been talking up a storm. Monday his therapist brought someone else to observe who wrote down all the words Morgan said in that hour, and I would say the list was about 40 words long! There were also a lot of words I know he can say that weren't on the list (like “Uncle Tim”, which he says easily these days). He's started saying “one more time”, and now that “yeah” is part of his vocabulary instead of just “no,” it allows for much easier communication. You can actually ask him things and he answers. He's also found his tongue (finally!) and thinks it's funny.

We started planning Timothy's birthday party. I tried to talk him into Spiderman, but he wanted Sponge Bob Square Pants and just wasn't willing to negotiate. So we got Sponge Bob Square Pants everything, plus pin the X on the treasure map, a treasure hunt game, and pineapple cups (for those of you who don't know, Sponge Bob lives in a pineapple under the sea). We got plain white lunch boxes and a bunch of sea related stickers to do a project. It's going to be so fun! He came up with the invite list, which includes 4 boys and 5 girls, so I was glad about that, maybe it'll take the energy level down a bit. Of course, Morgan and Ruby will also be invited. It'll be our first kid party! So exciting!
