I had some work to do today (from work, not from around the house) but decided to build the kids a sandbox instead. So Josh went out and got the lumber for me on the deal that he could then play 9 holes. I put our newish ShopVac together while he was gone (while watching Morgan sit in his water table and telling him no each time he went to put his face in) and vacuumed the benches and car seats that we had to take out of the van for Josh to fit the lumber. I managed to design and build a sandbox, with cover, all on my own (ok, a couple calls to mom, but other than that, all on my own). Josh helped when I needed to move it as it is rather heavy. I didn't put a bottom on, but did put two layers of landscaping fabric on the bottom and stained it with deck stain. Morgan was nice enough to nap while Josh was out, and Timothy was my helper (handed me screws). Turned out quite nice if I do say so myself. Now we just need the sand, but my back couldn't take it today.

We drove down to Philly on Wednesday for Passover with Josh's family. We stayed until mid-afternoon Saturday. Timothy appeared to be the world's most perfect child, as usual. He's always on his best behavior there. Morgan did ok. By Friday, he had let Jonathan and Susan each hold him, which isn't too bad. He wouldn't give Grandma Thel a hug. He had a meltdown about 60 minutes after we were scheduled to leave, and about 15 minutes before we actually left, so we left in kind of a rush. I feel sure we left several things behind. Still, it was his first and only meltdown of the trip, so I was pretty proud.
