I took Morgan to his school tonight to meet his new teacher and see him in action in his classroom. Usually he doesn't walk into the school, Josh carries him, but I was carrying a variety of items and couldn’t carry him and open the door at the same time, so he was forced to walk in. He cried and put up a fight and was generally pretty pissed, so I held the door with one hand and lifted my foot to his rear and pushed him in. Once inside, he got over it in about 2 seconds and took off walking down the hallway like he owned the place. He walked all the way down and around the hallways, and the ramp, without looking back, and walked into his classroom (I was a good five steps behind - he's pretty quick!) and said hi to his teachers. It was really cute.

I got to see him do a variety of activities and his schedule and sing the circle song. He was rather disturbed that I was there and kept saying bye bye to me, trying to get me to leave, but despite being distracted, he still did well. Then it was time to go and he walked all the way to the car, leading the way the whole time - didn't even look back to see if I was with him. I caught up to him in time to grab his hand for the walk through the parking lot. We had a great time and came home and did the hokey pokey, which he is really starting to do well.
