Well, for those of you who were wondering, yes, Morgan can fit all my makeup in the toilet. He can also fit several magazines, the toothpaste, the tweezers, an assortment of safety pins, and a button. Not only that, but he must have somehow climbed up on the counter and into the drawers to get all the ammo! Quite a problem solver this one. So now, since I refuse to use eyeliner that's been in the toilet, I must make a trip to CVS to replenish my supplies today.
Timothy's figured out how to get his own cup of water, which is nice. Of course, he grabs whatever cup is on the counter, which mayor not be a good thing, and then uses the dispenser from the fridge.
We made a menorah out of votive holders and colored glass marbles yesterday. Looks very nice. It was sponsored by mom, so was much cheaper than buying a new one! We also got Morgan an elmo balloon, which he has enjoyed thoroughly. He even went and found it when I asked 'where is elmo?', which was a first. Morgan continues to make great progress, especially with his social skills. I think he's finally understanding the word no. His new game is to walk over to Josh and slap his hand and then say 'no'!
Morgan's become quite a climber. He also does what we call the Nestea plunge on the bed - falls straight over without bending. Whatever he does that we laugh at, he does again. He jumps around the house like a bunny, which is cute. He can also count backwards from 4, which is different. And he's quite a seeker when we play hide and seek. Even when it's not his turn, he manages to give our hiding places away. It's like playing with Tim's dog (who is such a good seeker that welve decided not to let her play any more).
We had a great night out Friday night while mom and dad babysat. We were trying to remember the last time we just went out, and couldn't remember a time, but were pretty sure Morgan wasn't born yet. We
saw the new Harry Potter movie. Why do they have to make the theater so loud? I must be getting old. Then we had drinks with Tim and Amy, which was very enjoyable. I really do need to learn to stop at 2 drinks though, but that's another story.
Our friend amir (best man from our wedding) and his wife welcomed their first son into the world last Sunday. To date welve received over 200 pictures of the little tike. ahhhh, new parents : ). Josh talked with him briefly after their first night home with the baby and found his usually energetic and constantly joking friend to be quite the opposite. Josh got off the phone with a big smile on his face. "He's a tired new dad!" hee hee
Rhonda -- I find it totally fascinating to read about you with two little kids. It's a completely different family picture. I guess that's a dumb/obvious thing to say, which is maybe why people are so resistant to leaving comments. Not sure if I'm getting my point across.
