Happy almost Mother’s Day! Timothy informed me that tomorrow I can do whatever I want and he'll do whatever I say. He brought me a card he made me at school that he was supposed to hide until Sunday, which is what he told me while he was giving it to me. Hey, at least he's honest! The card had his footprint and a poem on the inside, which was adorable. From Morgan I got a handprint mold thing that is also adorable and has a poem taped to the back.
At least once a day I wonder what it is I did to deserve kids like mine. It must’ve been something great, something really really great for me to get to spend my life with the sweetest cutest little boys that ever existed. Everything they do entertains and amazes me. Timothy also told me today that I was his #1 mommy and that he would never trade his parents. See how lucky I am? I told him I'd never trade him either.
We had Morgan's review and planning for next year on Friday, which went well. They agreed to some extra services, and then the teacher called me back later in the evening to tell me they are thinking of adding an all day class specifically geared to autism spectrum disorders and that if they do, Morgan could go to the regular class in the mornings and then to this special class until 2:30. That would increase his time to about 20 hours a week, which would be so awesome! It’s not decided yet, but if they do go forward with it, Morgan will definitely get to be in it.
