Timothy brought a poem home from school that he has to memorize for the poetry recital on the 3rd. It's about baseball. I ordered him a bunch of birthday presents this week. He's very much looking forward to his birthday - desperately wants new video games. My mom sent me a check so I could do her shopping for her - so she's giving him video games. He'll be very excited. I also got him some board games and some wrestling figures. I can't believe he's growing up so fast!

Morgan had an ok week - couple so-so days and a couple good days. He's still been a bit dazed these days, which I'm sure will wear off just in time for the school year to end.

Work was busy this week - I had a 10 hour meeting on Tuesday that was the most pointless waste of my time that I almost took out everyone in the room. Since I made a point of implying as much to the facilitator, she was not my biggest fan and was literally yelling at me at one point, which was the most entertainment there was all day! In 10 hours we got two 6 minute breaks (who has ever heard of a 6 minute break!?) and 20 minutes for lunch. Then it ran late! The CFO, who was our "executive sponsor" was supposed to come for the last hour to admire all our work. He stayed for 10 minutes. That was when I really lost it. The facilitator tried to assign me some follow up tasks, but I told her where she could shove her follow-ups. Anyway, the bad mood that that meeting inspired didn't wear off until mid afternoon the next day.
