Morgan continues to say more words each day. Today's new words include story and dinosaur. We also got him to say “more juice”, but otherwise the two word strings are proving difficult. Yesterday he kicked a ball around the room, which is something he couldn't manage to do prior to yesterday, so that was exciting. He had play group this morning and really enjoys that. He had another great session with Laurie (he prefers Jill) and for the first time ever, the word "appropriate" was used on his daily report. Apparently he used all the toys appropriately that day. The therapy reports have changed tremendously since Christmas. Also, I asked him to go get a book tonight and he did, and he's been acting out songs that he hears, like clapping and stomping and saying hooray and such.

Mom came down Saturday and stayed over night so Josh and I could go to a birthday/mock retirement party for my old boss. It was fun but I wasn't keeping very good track of how many glasses of wine I was having, so stayed on the couch most of Sunday. Timothy offered me medicine and donuts to make me feel better.

Poor mom had some trouble with the TV, and unfortunately she had angered Timothy by not doing something or other that was in direct contrast to what Morgan wanted, and so he refused to help her because 'she was not his friend', it seems I am often not his friend these days, nor is Josh, though never at the same time, because the statement is always "I am daddy's friend but I am not your friend", or vice versa.

Mom and Timothy and I went to shopping. Timothy noticed that I was calling mom 'mom' and asked why I was calling her that and then started calling her mom as well.  We went to Friendly's for lunch. The waitress came over to read the specials and as soon as she was done Timothy said, "But do you have macaroni and cheese?"

At the end of March we meet with Birth to Three and the school system person to start "transitioning" Morgan to the school system for therapy. I’m not sure what that will involve, but have every faith it'll be fine.

Morgan is definitely demanding more attention these days. If he has my attention to himself and Timothy walks in to ask a question, he walks over to Timothy and hits him and pushes him away. At least if we start playing a game with "turns" both boys seem happy with that. They'd rather wait and then get their own turn than do stuff we can all do. They've never had trouble with turns and seem to look as much forward to the other's turn as they do their own, but try to get everyone to paint and you've got yourself a problem. Morgan is touching Timothy's paints and touching the wrong side of the paper and blah blah blah. It’s not worth it!
