Another great vacation. We had wonderful weather until yesterday and so we decided to call it and head home early.

The only other day that was rainy was Monday, so we took the kids to the Children's Museum of Maine in Portland. It was small and cramped and crowded (but very nice none the less), so needless to say it was a huge accomplishment that Morgan didn't cry the WHOLE time. Timothy found a few friends and had the time of his life.

The swimming was great: and Morgan LOVED it. Timothy, well, he did once go in up to his belly button, but that's about it. Morgan got very comfortable when he was out up to his nipples, and never fell over even once. He wore himself out regularly and managed to fall asleep in some odd positions - once bent over the coffee table!

One morning we woke up to find about a billion Canada Geese on our neighbor's yard! It was crazy. Then the neighbor came out and threw a fire cracker down, which didn't get them moving nearly as fast as you would think it would. Still pretty funny though.

We basically ate out every meal, found the greatest lobster roll place and Dad helped us discover Pat's Pizza, which was awesome, so I was pretty scared to step on the scale this morning - but I actually lost 5 lbs! I guess there's something to be said for exercise after all.

The second night there were storms across the lake that didn't reach us and a huge rainbow spread all the way over the lake. It was so cool. I HAD some great pictures of it (and of the boys with Grammie and Maurice too) but Josh touched the camera and managed to delete them all!! I thought I was going to kill him.

Grammie and Maurice stopped by for a visit and Morgan was hysterical with them. He sat between them on the couch and took turns touching their ears. A huge improvement from last year when he wouldn't barely give them the time of day.

Mom and Dad visited for a few days (more pictures that I lost!!) - Dad and Josh golfed both days and then one day Mom and I tried to do some shopping when they got home but most places closed by 6 and some by 5! Still, we managed to spend some money just the same. We had run some errands during the day and Mom seemed to then understand why running errands with 2 kids in car seats was really not as fun as it sounded. Actually, we decided on the way home that Timothy should be ready to graduate from a car seat now that he's SIX, so we're moving Morgan to his and taking Morgan's out and cleaning it and saving it for next year.
