"the baby's eating?"
"yes Jocelyn, the baby's eating"
"the baby's eating your belly?"
hee hee cute
I'm home alone with Morgan, Jocelyn, and Jesse today. Josh and Uncle Joey took Timothy and a friend to a RockCat's baseball game to celebrate Timothy's birthday. Josh just called to check in and said that Timothy got a foul ball tossed to him and that officially made it "the best day of his life". $50 well spent I guess. Well, $50 for the tickets - I guess Timothy's friend is really putting away the food! But still, way cheaper than Chuck E Cheese's. I have some party supplies and a cake and plan to have them all set up when Timothy gets home from school tomorrow. Shhhhh, don't tell!
On the subject of shhhhh - Jocelyn has been experimenting with both pitch and volume this week and it's been unpleasant. We finally had to tell her no screaming and several times she got spanked (not hard) for emphasis. Well now she's spent the day walking around telling us all no screaming only she shouts it! oyoyoy.
Despite being home without Josh, I managed to get in my yoga DVD (though no running since it was raining when I got up this morning). Jocelyn and Morgan actually went upstairs and played together the whole time I was working out. I could hear them for a while - Jocelyn bossing Morgan around that is (wonder where she gets that??) but then it was so quiet that at one point I had to pause the DVD and go check on them. But they were in my bed having a pillow fight (Morgan is so good - he knows to be gentle) and jumping around. They were happy so I left them.
On the subject of running, twice this week I ran 3.5 miles without stopping. yay! It is definitely making a difference and maybe one of these days I'll lose the very lovely back fat I've developed over the years. (haha - too much sharing?).
Uncle Aaron was in town yesterday and stopped by for a visit. We all got caught up and Timothy learned about prime numbers - not bad for an afternoon.
Jesse gained 8oz this week!! wow!! And that was without cereal (his rash is cleared up so I gave him a bit this morning to try again - so far so good). So I guess he just likes to go through spurts and then not. He's pushing 13lbs now, and the onsie I have on him is ready to be retired. He can still fit into some 0-3s, but generally is wearing 3-6s. He desperately wants to crawl and gets his legs going but the front half of him won't budge. He finds this very frustrating, being goal-oriented and all - hee hee hee.
I was way ahead for pumping this week and the freezer is up to 308oz. I've decided it's time to back it off a bit (ok, I ran out of storage bottles, but close enough), so I haven't pumped extra like I usually do on the weekends.
Josh sent me flowers for our anniversary (thanks for all the emails!). It was all different purple flowers including 2 purple roses (to be each of us) and the 4 pink roses for the kids. It was cute that he put so much thought into it, and they turned out super pretty. He also went out and got us a Dyson. So far we're pretty thrilled with it and would have saved a lot of time and money if we had invested in one 5 vacuums ago.
Well Jesse's done eating so I guess I better go see how much of the kitchen Jocelyn has dismantled - it sounds like some serious destruction going on in there.
