Well I was really committed today - decided to put Jocelyn in her brand new panties and get her to use the potty. (I found size 2/3 at The Children's Place that almost fit her, just a tad baggy, but very cute). However, around 3pm when we had gone through all 6 pairs that I had purchased, I gave up. I'm the worst potty trainer ever!
Last night we were behind schedule and I didn't get Jesse down until 11 pm. But then he slept until 6am! yay for sleep! It was actually the 3rd night in a row that he had slept 7 hours. We're totally getting there. I think it helps that we've been cramming him full of solids every day. He's also been having what we have for dinner. Not everything of course - but he's tried chicken and also beans and hamburg. I cut it up pretty small and put it on the high chair tray and he just goes to town. He hasn't got a pincher grasp yet so there's a lack of precision in getting food into his mouth - hahaha. Then he has a yogurt with fruit in it after that and then I nurse him as much as possible all evening. Usually he goes down around 9 so the two nights before last he slept until 4, but that works nicely because then I can feed him and put him back down before I have to get up for work.
Morgan started school this week and seems to have transitioned pretty easily. His old preschool teacher is in the room across the hall and emailed me about how much he's grown.
Don't know if I mentioned that I found Timothy a fantasy baseball league for kids and he's been doing that. He enjoys it and enjoys telling me ALL about it. I don't have any idea what he's saying.
Not much else for news I guess. Nothing too exciting planned this weekend. It's supposed to be 90 tomorrow so we may get out the slip and slide!
