I was changing out winter clothes for summer today (wishful thinking I know) and I came across the shirt and pants that Timothy wore to Mandy's wedding - awwwww, he was little once! Well, not that little - in fact Jesse is so small and Timothy was so big that even though Jesse was Nov and Timothy was June, Jesse will still be wearing Timothy's hand-me-downs this summer!
I guess that brings us to the «ticka ticka ticka» pump report! I was a tad up this week and the freezer is up to 286oz - woo hoo! Jesse will be 5 months tomorrow, officially marking the longest I've breastfed – yay us! It was about a week before 5 months that Jocelyn developed a bottle preference and went on strike and we never made it out the other side. I think this time it has helped that since I went back to work Jesse has not had a bottle while I'm home, so he therefore seems to know that mommy home = boob. The only downside is that I seem to make low-fat milk! I weighed him today and it looks like we're pushing 111bs, which actually is pretty good gain since most babies slow at the 4 month mark. One more month until solids and I'm getting excited! I went out today and picked up a mesh feeder to let him try a few *momsicles* (my milk frozen into cubes and then put in the feeder) so that will be fun. I was going back and forth on even bothering with cereal vs. going straight to bananas but ended up picking up a small box of Earth's Best organic whole grain baby oatmeal - sounds yummy!
Jocelyn's been cruising about on the lady bug car thing my mom got her for her birthday - it's so cute!
